At present Evenkya is one of the regions with highly-developed system of telecommunication. All the settlements in Evenkya are supplied with the satellite communication equipment, systems of digital telephony, Internet.

Inhabitants of the settlements have an opportunity to choose among 4 TV-channels as minimum. There is 1 FM radio-channel in Tura, Baikit and Vanavara.

To ensure people’s access to the World informational system resources – Internet, email – data communications network is being formed there in Evenkya.

1. According to subprogram “TV and radio developing”

Installation of the necessary receiving equipment, television transmitters (“1” TV Channel, “Russia” TV-Channel)

2. According to subprogram “Evenkya-region”

Modernization of existing and formation of new Internet Nodes, enlarging of the telecommunication system for the Administration and municipal enterprises. State-financed organizations are being connected to the global information network system.

3. According to subprogram “Public phone”

Getting ready of the construction documents

In 2007 they planned the constructing of the optical carrier “Tura-Gorny”

In 2008 – acquisition, transporting and installation of the equipment for enlarging of local automatic telephone stations capacity.

Total program cost – 95450 thousand Rubles.

As for the common people – these services allow to make a quick search of actual information that helps to improve intelligence in general.
